Custom Software · Mobile App Development

Mobile apps that get adopted.

Field apps, sales tools, and customer apps built for the way people actually hold a phone: one-handed, offline-capable, zero training. 92% field adoption in 30 days on one of ours. A new app starts with a Validation, Design & Planning (VDP) engagement; an unstable one with a System Evaluation.

Mobile App Development

We develop custom mobile apps that get the job done in the field.

Your people don’t work at a desk, and neither do your customers. A mobile app puts the work where it happens — the truck, the showroom, the job site — connected to the systems back at the office. We build apps that get adopted: one-handed, offline-capable, no training required. 92% field adoption in 30 days on one of ours; 1,300+ downloads in month one on another.

01
Field and frontline apps
Work orders, routing, photos, signatures, parts, completion docs — one app instead of five, designed in the field by riding along with the people who’ll use it.
02
Sales and customer-facing apps
Texting, calling, dashboards, and notifications for people who work between meetings. Built to a trade-show deadline when that’s what the business needs.
03
Learning and consumer apps
Mobile-first products with real user bases — 10,000+ student pilots trained on one of ours.
04
Rebuilds of apps users have given up on
When a vendor left you with an unstable app, we audit the code and rebuild — often winning back the users who left.
Areas of expertise

What we’re good at, specifically.

iOS development

Native-quality iPhone and iPad apps, through App Store review and the rejections that come with it. You own the developer account.

Android development

The other half of your workforce’s pockets — built and released with the same care, on the devices your teams actually carry.

Cross-platform, one codebase

Both stores from a single codebase where it fits: one release, one maintenance bill. We’ll tell you when native is the better call.

Connected devices & IoT

Scanners, sensors, kiosks, and vehicle hardware talking to the app — and the app talking back.

Responsive web companions

The admin console, the dispatcher’s screen, the customer’s browser view — the web side of a mobile system, designed with it, not after it.

Web & cloud back ends

The data, the sync, the push notifications, and the integrations to your back office. A mobile app is the visible tenth of the system; we build the rest.

How we work

We’ll tailor a time-tested approach to your situation.

Twenty years, hundreds of projects, the same five moves — sized to your project, never boilerplate. Every one starts with a 30-minute Discovery Call.

01
Technology strategy
Before code: the right platform and technologies for your goals, your team, and your budget. For a new build this is the Validation, Design & Planning (VDP) engagement; for an existing system, the System Evaluation.
02
Human-centered design
We research the people who’ll use it and what they’re trying to get done, then design the interactions around that — not around the org chart.
03
Development & visual design
Weekly iterations. You see working software every week, in your environment, and steer it while steering is cheap.
04
Deployment
Tested, secured, and integrated into your infrastructure — environments, app stores, and the handover documentation included.
05
Maintenance & support
Ongoing care under Managed Hosting & Support — a monthly package or a reserved bucket of senior hours — so the software keeps earning its keep.
Why it works

What it does for the business.

Plain language on purpose. The technical choices are ours to make well — and to explain whenever you ask. The outcomes are yours.

Built for how the job is actually done

One-handed, gloves on, between conversations. We design in the field before we draw a screen — which is where 92% adoption in 30 days came from.

Works without a signal

Records are captured offline and sync when the phone reconnects. Nothing gets lost in a basement, a rural site, or a dead zone.

One app, both stores

iOS and Android from one codebase where it fits — one release, one maintenance bill. We’ll tell you when a native app is the better call.

The whole system, not just the app

The data behind it, the connections to your back office, the notifications, and the admin tools come with it — and are part of the estimate.

Become technology-driven instead of technology-frustrated.

Our no-BS, outcome-oriented approach will solve your biggest challenges and help your company do better business now.

What clients say

Partner, not vendor.

They were really good at listening. They actually offered up things I’d never thought of and helped me improve the look and feel of the app.

Questions about mobile

Straight answers.

Native or cross-platform?

Usually cross-platform on one codebase — it’s cheaper to maintain and ships to both stores from one release. We go native when the app leans on hardware or performance in ways cross-platform can’t serve, and we’ll show you the trade-off before you decide.

Do you handle the app stores?

Yes — accounts, review, release, and the rejections that come with them. You own the developer accounts.

How do you get adoption?

By designing in the field. The 92%-adoption app came from two weeks riding along with technicians and shadowing dispatchers before a screen was drawn. Adoption is designed, not trained.

What about the back end?

It comes with the app. APIs, data, push, and admin tooling are part of the build — and part of the estimate.
